Possession of Lost or Stolen Credit Card – False Driver’s License – Arrested
12:51 am
Rivera St & 48th Ave
Officers were on patrol and traveling on Great Highway when they heard the sound of a vehicle alarm. Upon investigation, two subjects were observed standing next to a vehicle with a broken window with a third subject who was inside the vehicle. The third subject successfully fled the scene as the officers approached but the remaining two subjects were detained. When identification was requested, one of the subjects provided an ID which was clearly laser jet printed and then poorly laminated together. A search of the subject revealed numerous credit cards with different names which the subject stated that he had found. After further investigation, there was no evidence that the two subjects had broken into the vehicle and none of credit cards belonged to the victim of the broken vehicle.  The subject with the credit cards and false ID was arrested and the second subject was released on scene.
