Grand Theft of Auto – Driving while Under the Influence of Alcohol- Evading Police  – Vehicle Collision – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. The victim reported that he had parked his vehicle but had left the vehicle on with the keys still inside when he walked away from it to pick up his son. When the victim returned, he found that his vehicle was missing. Shortly after, the vehicle was located by officers but where unsuccessful in stopping the vehicle while they were on foot. Approximately one minute later, information was received that there was a vehicle collision had occurred nearby, on 20th Avenue and Quintara, after the vehicle had sped through several stops signs and crashed into another vehicle going in a different direction. The second vehicle’s driver and passengers suffered non life threatening injuries. A computer search of the on the suspect revealed two warrants out of San Bernardino County and that his license had been suspended for driving under the influence.  After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Graffiti – Vandalism – Arrested

Officers were on patrol when they were stop by a witness, an off duty Daly City police officer. The witness stated that a suspect was observed making graffiti on approximately five different pieces of property and was last seen waiting for a buss. The officers located the suspect and a search revealed multiple markers and notebooks containing examples of the suspect’s work. The suspect was Mirandized.  The suspect stated that he had just started out and was only placing graffiti on government equipment because he did not want to make people mad at him. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that he was walking in front of a restaurant when 6 juvenile suspects suddenly attacked him before immediately fleeing the scene.

3000 San Jose Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she was backing into a spot when when another vehicle honked at her. The victim stated that she told the driver that he could go around her when the driver said something she didn’t hear before something hit her vehicle. The victim exited her vehicle to investigate for damages when a suspect suddenly exited the passenger side of the second vehicle and punched her several times before getting back into the vehicle. The second vehicle then fled the area.  

Battery – Trespassing

Officers responded to a report of a battery and trespassing. The victim reported that he there was a knocking on his door and when he opened the door, the suspect walked into the house without being invited in. The suspect then attempted to strangle the victim. The victim pushed the suspect away and warned him that he was going to call the police. The suspect then exited the house.
