Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that she and a friend were walking to school when another student, the suspect, accused the victim of talking negatively about her. The suspect angrily pulled the victim’s hair and pulled her on to the floor before walking away. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was cited and released to a family member.
