Assault – Arrested

3800 Noriega St
Officers responded to a report of an assault at a pub. The witness reported that the suspect and his girlfriend, who were regular customers had entered the pub earlier in the afternoon. Later in the afternoon, the girlfriend went to the bathroom but did not return for a long length of time. The witness went to check on the girlfriend and found her on the bathroom floor. The witness exited the bathroom and told the suspect that she could not serve them more alcohol. The witness then returned to the bathroom to help the girlfriend when the suspect followed her and slapped the witness. The witness told the suspect to leave and a victim attempted to escort the suspect out. The suspect responded by biting the victim on his hand. The victim and several other patrons persisted and escorted the suspect outside without further incident and awaited the arrival of the police. After further investigation, the suspect was later arrested.

Officers were conducting speed enforcement when they observed a vehicle speeding. The officers determined that the driver was traveling approximately 60-70 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he did not have a driver’s license. The driver was cited.

Battery

Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim told the officers that she had called DPT regarding a vehicle that was blocking a portion of her driveway. DPT arrived at the same time the suspect returned to their car. The suspect angrily rang the victim’s doorbell multiple times and yelled at the victim when she opened the door. The suspect then punched the victim before immediately leaving the property.
