Warrant Arrest – Resisting Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of the suspect, a family member, causing damage to a door inside a house. Responding officers arrived at the location and attempted to make contact. Initially, the suspect answered the door but refused to open the front gate and then closed the front door on the officers. Shortly afterwards, the suspect was observed trying to climb over the side of a fence a short distance away. The officers pursued and detained the suspect without incident. The victim reported that the suspect had been upset and had thrown items around inside the house. When the computer check revealed that the suspect had a warrant for his arrest, the suspect became agitated and kicked one of the officers. The suspect was restrained without incident and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that she had been playfully hitting the suspect with a frying pan when the suspect reacted angrily and took the frying pan away from her. The suspect then hit the victim several times on the head with the frying pan before fleeing the area. Responding officers searched and successfully located the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.  

Theft of Auto – Possession of Stolen Property – Resisting Arrest – Arrested

An officer was on patrol when he observed a vehicle, which was covered in spray paint, with it’s side door standing ajar and with a large amount of items scattered around the exterior of the vehicle. While the officer was conducting a vehicle check with dispatch, the suspect emerged from inside the vehicle and walked towards the officer. The suspect complied when asked to sit down but immediately began to fidget and look for an escape route. Dispatch reported back that the vehicle had been stolen. The officer attempted to handcuff the suspect but the suspect resisted and multiple officers were necessary to complete the task before successfully placing the suspect into custody. A search of the vehicle revealed multiple items of stolen property.  After further investigation, the suspects were arrested for the stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property.
