Possession of an Air Gun – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a person with a gun. The witness reported that the suspect had been observed with a gun tucked into his waistband. Responding officers located the suspect and detained him without incident. A search of the suspect located the gun, which was a replica BB gun with the orange tip shaved off. The suspect stated that he had found the BB gun and that it did not belong to him. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.
