Officers responded to a report of a suspect with a knife. Responding officers arrived and located the suspect, who was holding on to a knife. The officers made contact with the suspect and convinced the suspect to drop the knife. The suspect was detained without incident. The victim reported that the suspect had thrown a piece of fruit at him, which missed but then the suspect threatened to stab the victim and had made a stabbing motion towards him. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that did not have working taillights. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been expired. The driver was cited.
Battery
10:40 pm
3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that there were two people who had just entered the store and were acting suspiciously. The victim contacted security, which angered one of the subjects. An argument ensued and the victim was struck in the head with a thrown item before both subjects exited the store.
