Officers responded to a report of an elderly woman who was yelling for help. Responding officers arrived and made contact with the suspect, the victim’s son. The victim stated that the suspect was no longer welcomed at the house. A computer check revealed a stay away order against the suspect along with an arrest warrant. The suspect was also on probation for battery. The suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of a fire. The suspect reported that he had received a text from his landlord stating that candles were not allowed in the house regarding a lit candle that was in that suspect’s bathroom. The suspect stated that he took the candle to the back yard, lit it and placed it next to a pair of shoes. The suspect then left the area and was unable to return to the back yard due to a locked door. When the suspect finally returned, he discovered that a fire had started. However, later during the interview, the suspect was unable to recount the incident without changing his answers. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.
