Attempted Robbery  of A Business

1600 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim, an employee at Walgreens, reported that he had been arranging merchandise when the suspect approached from the rear of the store. The suspect then pulled out a gun from his waistband and pointed it at the victim before demanding that the enter the office. The victim complied but closed the office door behind him before the suspect could enter behind him. The victim then announced on the store’s PA system to call 911, which caused the suspect to immediately flee the store.  

Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Ocean Ave & 19th Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that he did not have a valid driver’s license. It was also revealed that there was an arrest warrant issued for a previous offense for driving without a valid license. The driver was arrested.
