Warrant Arrest – Arrested

100 Majestic Ave
Officers were on patrol and observed a known subject driving a car, despite a history of having an invalid driver’s license. A computer check conformed that the subject also had an arrest warrant out of San Mateo County. The officers detained the subject and arrested him.
Search Warrant – Possession of Fireworks
5:30 pm
100 Broad St
Officers were on duty and were checking in with the merchants on Broad St when they approached a locked gate in front of a store. A subject immediately hurried over and explained that the store was currently closed. However, while speaking with the subject, the officers observed that there were multiple boxes of fireworks stored inside the store. The subject refused to open the door for the officers and a search warrant was obtained. A search of the store located approximately 30 pounds of over 75 different types of fireworks.
Vandalism – Assault – Driving while Intoxicated – Cited

19th Ave & Rivera St
Officers responded to a report of a vandalism and an a assault. The victim, a DPT employee, reported that he had just placed a taicket on a vehicle and was driving away when the vehicle started chasing after him. The suspect caught up to the victim and exited his vehicle to place the ticket he had just received on to the victim’s work vehicle. The suspect then punched the victim’s windshield, which caused it to shatter. The victim attempted to film the incident despite the suspect unsuccessfully trying to take the phone away. The suspect then pushed the victim before getting back into his vehicle and driving away. Shortly after, the officers received a report that the suspect’s vehicle had just been involved in a collision. The suspect appeared intoxicated and failed a field sobriety test and was cited.
