Battery

The victim came to the station to report a battery incident. The victim reported that his son was trying to sleep when the neighbor’s dog began barking. The victim stated that the suspect went outside and started yelling and screaming. The victim attempted to calm the suspect down but the suspect began to yell at the victim as well and a struggle ensued. The victim reported that he had sustained some injuries during the struggle. 

Reckless Driving – Suspended Driver’s License

TNT officers were on patrol when they observed a known suspect who had been previously arrested for drug dealing and driving with a suspended license. The officers observed the suspect get into a vehicle and drive away. Shortly after, the suspect failed to stop at a posted stop sign. The officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but was unsuccessful. At one point, the suspect stopped the vehicle but sped away as soon as the officers approached the vehicle.  

Warrant Arrest

Officers responded to a report of a suspect looking into mailboxes. Responding officers located the suspect, who was known to the officers. The suspect stated that he was only standing around the area. A computer check on the suspect revealed that he had an arrest warrant out of San Mateo County. The suspect was arrested.

Robbery

2000 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that despite the laundromat was closed for repainting, the suspect asked the victim for use of the victim’s phone. The victim refused and the suspect asked if he could go inside the laundromat to wash his hands instead. The victim, who did not want a confrontation, agreed to the request but the suspect suddenly grabbed the victim’s phone and attempted to flee the area. The victim and several other employees detained the suspect despite the suspect’s use of force to retain the phone and flee the area. After a long struggle, the suspect gave the phone back to the victim. Responding officers investigated the incident and the suspect was arrested.
