Robbery – Possession of a loaded firearm – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. Two senior victims reported that they were walking on the sidewalk when the suspect suddenly approached them with a revolver pointed at them and demanded money. The victims fearfully handed their property to the suspect and the suspect fled the area. While the responding officers were investigating, they received a call that the suspect had been detained by a Daly City police officer. A search of the suspect revealed the backpack and revolver that was used in the robbery. The suspect later admitted to the robbery and stated that he was in need of money. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to Target regarding a detained shoplifter. The witness reported that the suspect had selected multiple items of merchandise and placed them into a shopping cart before walking out of the store without paying for anything. The witness detained the suspect without incident and determined that the suspect had attempted to steal approximately $1029.00 in merchandise. After further investigation, a computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.
