Assault – Arrested

200 Winston Dr
Officers responded to a report of an assault with a knife. The witness, a security employee, reported that the suspect had been laying on the sidewalk in front of a store. The suspect was asked to leave but the suspect responded by approaching the witness with a weapon and making a swiping motion at him with it before walking away. Responding officers located the suspect and a search revealed a handmade knife in the suspect’s possession. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
