Tire Slashing – Vandalism to Vehicle – Probation Violation – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of damaged done to multiple vehicles in the same neighborhood. Responding officers arrived at the location and made contact with 6 victims, who all reported that their vehicle’s tires had been slashed. Multiple victims also submitted security video footage of the suspect bending over and tampering with their vehicle’s tires. Officers located the suspect, who was standing in front of his house, and detained him without incident. A computer check revealed that the suspect was currently on felony probation for vandalism. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Discharging a Firearm

Brotherhood Way & Arch St
Officers responded to a report of a shooting. The victim reported that she had been driving when the suspect stopped in the middle of the road for no apparent reason. The victim honked at the suspect’s vehicle and the vehicle sped off. However, when the victim passed the suspect’s vehicle shortly after, she suddenly heard two loud bangs and realized that she had been shot at by the suspect. The victim and suspect then both sped away from the location immediately afterwards.  

Battery – Vandalism to Vehicle

40th Ave & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim stated that he was about to change lanes while driving when he almost hit the suspect. The victim and suspect both pulled over and exchanged words. The victim told the suspect to “not drive like that” and the suspect responded that the victim shouldn’t “talk to him like that” before the suspect exited his vehicle and yelled at the victim. The suspect then punched the victim and the the window of the victim’s vehicle before fleeing the area.
