Theft from a Building – Possession of Stolen Property – Conspiracy – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of suspicious behavior. The witness stated that she had followed a vehicle after observing that paper and packages were being thrown out of the front passenger window of a slowly moving vehicle. The witness then observed the passenger exit the vehicle and walk up, empty handed, to the front stairs of a different residence and return to the vehicle with a package in her hand. A second witness reported that the suspects had driven up his driveway but he did not recognize them and did not know why the car had been in his driveway. Responding officers located the suspects and detained them. A search revealed numerous boxes inside the vehicle, with multiple names and addresses on them, with additional boxes and packaging material discarded on nearby streets.  After further investigation, both suspects were arrested.

Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License – Warrant Arrest – Arrested – Cited

Orizaba Ave & Broad St
Officers observed a vehicle without a front license plate. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver. The driver stated that he did not have a driver’s license and the front passenger was observed without a seatbelt on. The officers conducted a computer check which revealed that the driver had been cited numerous times previously for the same violation. The driver also had an arrest warrant out of Solano County. The driver was arrested and the passenger was cited.

Arson of a Vehicle

100 Junipero Serra Blvd
Officers responded to assist SFFD regarding a vehicle on fire. The vehicle was observed with damage to the front fender and to the tires, which had popped, and was carrying numerous canisters of nitrous oxide inside. SFFD was unable to determine the cause of the fire but believe that the damage to the vehicle may have been the cause. The owner of the vehicle was not present at the time of the incident and could not be located.
