Traffic Violation – Vehicle Registration – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that failed to make a complete stop before proceeding to make a left turn. The officers conducted a computer check which revealed that the registration had been expired since 2015, despite a current 2019 registration tab affixed to the license plate. The officers conducted a traffic stop and cited the driver.

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness, a Starbucks employee, reported that the suspect had been observed stealing a cup of coffee. Responding officers located the suspect, who was sitting on a bench in front of the store, and made contact with her. The suspect responded that she had wanted a coffee and took one. A computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for her arrest. The suspect was arrested.
