Trespassing – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a trespasser. Responding officers arrived at the location and ordered the suspect to exit the house. The suspect complied and was detained without incident. The witness stated that he had heard noises from the back yard of a neighboring house, despite that fact that the house should have been empty due to the owner being deceased.  After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Search Warrants – Assault – Battery of a Police Officer – Arrested

TNT officers arrived at a location to conduct a search while the suspect was exiting the house. The suspect immediately attempted to flee back into the house. The officers successfully detained the suspect, despite the suspect punching and striking the officers and causing multiple lacerations and bruises. The suspect was arrested.

Vehicle Tampering – Possession of Stolen Property – Possession of Burglary Tools – Cited

Officers were on patrol and observed the suspect sitting at a bus stop and looking into a backpack. The suspect then got up and walked along the street while looking at houses and into parked vehicles. The suspect was then observed getting into a vehicle and sitting in the passenger’s seat. The officers walked up to the suspect, who was rifling through the vehicle’s glove compartment and putting items from it directly into his backpack. The officers detained the suspect, who spontaneously responded that the vehicle wasn’t his. A search of the suspect revealed several tools that can be used to break into vehicles as well as items belonging to a victim, which were found inside the suspect’s backpack. The suspect was cited.

Officers responded to a report of a shooting. Responding officers arrived at the location and observed bullet holes in the building and numerous fired cartridge casings on the ground nearby. The witness reported that they had heard clicking noises and looked out the window to investigate. The witness stated that there was a silver sedan with an unknown amount of people inside it that was outside the building. Video footage of the incident was obtained by the officers.
