2014 Black History Month Awards – February 23, 2014

From the SF African-American Historical and Cultural Society Website – The SFAAHCS (San Francisco African American Historical & Cultural Society or “Society”) is a membership-based non-profit institution. The Society’s mission is to collect, preserve and present art, artifacts and recorded materials that reflect the history and culture of African Americans in San Francisco and the Bay Area. The Society also sponsors and supports research, publications and educational activities related to the history and culture of African Americans.

In recognition of Black History Month 2014, the SFAAHCS is having an Awards Program to honor and recognize those who made a significant contribution to our endeavors.
