Recovered Stolen Vehicle – Arrested

Officers were on patrol when they observed a vehicle with it’s hazard lights on. The officers conducted a computer check on the vehicle which revealed that it had been stolen. The officers made contact with the suspect, who was sitting in the driver’s side of the vehicle. The suspect stated that somebody had brought the vehicle over and that the suspect did not steal it. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers responded to a report of suspect smoking marijuana and driving a Community Patrol golf cart. Responding officers searched the area and located the cart with two subjects inside it. The officers contacted Community Patrol and were told that the golf cart had been stolen. After further investigation, one suspect was arrested and the second subject was interviewed.
