Attempted Robbery – Resisting Arrest – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a purse snatching incident with a description of the suspect and the direction of flight broadcasted by dispatch. Responding officers searched the area and located the suspect. The suspect attempted to flee despite orders from the officers to stop and was successfully detained. The victim reported that she and her friends were walking when the suspect suddenly grabbed her purse and unsuccessfully attempted to pull it away from her. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Assault – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim stated that he and his father, the suspect, had gotten into an argument and had thrown a traffic cone at him. The victim and suspect then entered their vehicle and continued the argument. Shortly after, the suspect exited the vehicle and struck the victim, through the open window of the vehicle, with a stick. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
Burglary – Vandalism – Theft – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness reported that the suspect had broken through the front gate of an apartment complex and damaged a coin operated washing machine to steal the coins that were inside. The witness attempted to detain the suspect but was unsuccessful and the suspect fled the area. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
