Burglary – Arrested

3200 20th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. The witness reported that two vehicles had suspiciously parked in front of the gate at the entry of a construction area, which had a recent history of metal thefts. The witness investigated and observed a bolt cutter inside the vehicle and that the gate’s chain had also been recently cut. The responding officers started to enter the construction area but were met by two suspects who exited the area with their hands up. The suspects stated that they did not do anything wrong and that they had just come from a nearby McDonalds. After further investigation, the suspects were arrested.

Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a robbery at a gas station. The victim reported that the suspect had entered the station and selected several items of food before taking it to the register. As the victim processed the items for purchase, the suspect suddenly held up a handgun and pointed it at the victim while demanding money. The suspect then immediately fled the area on his motorcycle with the stolen money and food.  

Attempted Kidnaping

Officers responded to a report of a possible kidnaping attempt. The victim reported that she was walking home from school when she saw the suspect looking into the trunk of his parked car. As the victim walked past the suspect, the suspect asked the victim if she wanted a ride in the car. The victim refused and the suspect approached her and demanded that she come closer to him. The suspect then attempted to grab the victim’s arm but the victim successfully ran away from the suspect. The suspect then entered his vehicle and drove away from the area.  

Traffic Violation – Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

19th Ave & Winston Dr
Officers were conducting speed enforcement on 19th Ave when they observed a vehicle traveling approximately 65 MPH in a 30 MPH zone. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended. The driver was cited.

Suspended Driver’s License – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

700 Darien Way
TNT officers observed a vehicle which had slowed down to make a U-turn and recognized the driver who had an arrest warrant. The vehicle then stopped and the driver attempted to get out. The officers detained the driver and a computer check confirmed that the warrant was current and that the driver did not have a valid license to drive. The driver was arrested.
