Vandalism – Warrant Arrest – Assault on a Police Officer – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a suspect breaking into a truck. The witness reported that he had observed the suspect break the side mirrors to a truck and to a car. Responding officers searched and located the suspect and successfully detained him, despite the suspect resisting arrest and attempting to punch the officers.  A computer check on the suspect revealed an arrest warrant and that the suspect was also on parole. The suspect was arrested.

Assault – Vandalism to Property – Arrested

Officers responded to 7-11 regarding an altercation with a hammer. The witness reported that the suspect was observed causing an commotion inside the store and was asked to leave. The suspect responded angrily and kicked at a glass window, causing it to shatter and break. An employee exited the store and confronted the suspect and asked him to leave but the suspect refused. The employee returned to the store and exited with a hammer, which he used to hit the suspect. After further investigation, both the suspect and the employee were arrested.

Theft from a Vehicle – Possession of Stolen Property – Cited

Officers responded to a report of an auto burglary. The witness reported that the suspect was observed attempting to open the doors of multiple vehicles that were parked in a parking lot. The witness then observe the suspect open a vehicle’s door and climb inside. Responding officers arrived and located the suspect, who was still inside the vehicle. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Traffic Violation – Evading a Police Officer – Resisting Arrest – No License Issued – Arrested

Brotherhood Way & Arch St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that did not have a rear license plate. The officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop but the suspect refused to pull over and tried to flee. However, the driver’s vehicle hit a dip in the road which caused the vehicle to stop. The driver immediately exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The officers gave chase and with the help of bystanders, the suspect was located and detained. A search of the suspect’s vehicle revealed a mask and a window punch. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
