Officers responded to a report of a possible incident of domestic violence. The witness reported that his daughter was dating the suspect and that the suspect had been yelling at her daughter all day. Responding officers arrived at the location and approached the suspect, who was inside a vehicle. However, the suspect immediately drove away from the officers and was stopped by additional officers shortly afterwards. The officers conducted a traffic stop and escorted the suspect out of the vehicle. The suspect was instructed to sit on the sidewalk but the suspect declined. During the search of the vehicle, which located a BB gun and a loaded firearm, the suspect unsuccessfully attempted to flee the location on foot. The suspect was detained and handcuffed. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
