Officers were on patrol and observed a suspicious vehicle. The officers conducted a check on the vehicle which revealed that the vehicle’s registration had been expired since April 2018. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had also expired. The driver was cited.
Carjacking

Officers responded to a report of a carjacking. The victim stated that she had just parked her vehicle when the suspect walked up to her and took the keys away from her hands. The suspect then pushed the victim on to the ground, got into the victim’s vehicle and drove away.
Robbery

Niantic Ave & Saint Charles Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she had just realized that she was being followed while walking home when two suspects approached her and pushed her against a parked vehicle. The suspects told the victim that they had a gun and demanded that she give them her property. The suspects took the victim’s property and fled the area. The victim stated that she did not see a weapon during the incident.
Assault

Officers responded to a report of an assault over an auto boosting incident. The victim stated that she had yelled at the suspect, who had suddenly ducked down near her friend’s vehicle. After the victim yelled at the suspect, the suspect immediately fled the area. The victim and her friend ran after the suspect, who entered a waiting vehicle. As the suspect fled in the vehicle, the vehicle narrowly missed hitting the victim.
