Arson – Arrested

00 Farallones St
Officers responded to an unknown complaint. Responding officers arrived at the location and made contact with the witness and victim. The victim reported that the suspect, a relative, was acting weirdly. The witness stated that the suspect was observed setting fire to the freezer compartment of the refrigerator while naked. The fire was extinguished by the witness. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.  

Robbery – Arrested

St Charles Ave & Belle Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she was walking when a suspect suddenly came up from behind her and snatched her cell phone away from her hand. The victim attempted to retrieve her phone but the suspect responded by punching the victim in her face and fled with the phone. Responding officers successfully located the suspect and detained him. The victim responded to the suspect’s location and identified him as the one who had stolen her phone. The suspect was arrested.

Assault – Theft from a Merchant

1100 Ocean Ave
Officers responded to a report of a theft. The victim reported that suspect left the restaurant and taken some utensils. The victim followed the suspect and the suspect responded by throwing a container of soup at the victim. The suspect then fled the area.  

Traffic violation – Reckless Driving – Cited

Randolph St & Victoria St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle without front license plates. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver before citing him. The driver, who was unhappy with citation, followed the officers afterwards and was observed passing vehicles illegally and running numerous stop signs to tailgate the officers.  The driver was stopped and cited a second time.
