Theft from A Locked Vehicle – Arrested

Officers responded to a report of a detained burglary suspect. The victim reported that there were suspicious noises outside her garage and observed the suspect, through an open mail slot, break a window.  The victim called for help and went outside to confront the suspect but the suspect immediately fled. The victim then cleaned up the shattered glass and returned inside. Shortly afterwards, about 20 minutes, the victim returned to the vehicle and observed the same suspect inside the vehicle. The suspect attempted to flee but was detained by the victim’s husband and her son. Responding officers interviewed the suspect and observed, in plain view through a mesh front pocket of the suspect’s backpack, two prescription bottles and an empty narcotics bindle. The prescription medication was not addressed in the suspect’s name. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with paper plates. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check on the driver revealed that his license had been suspended since June 2018 for failing to appear in court. The driver was cited.

Battery- Cited

Officers responded to a report of a battery and made contact with both parties. The victim reported that she had wanted to visit her friend, who lived next door. The victim entered her friend’s property through an open gate and was immediately followed by the suspect, who told the victim to leave. The suspect then pushed the victim. The suspect responded that he had a history of numerous disputes with the victim and confirmed that he told the victim to leave but did not touch the victim. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Assault – Warrant Arrest – Probation Violation – Arrested

200 Lakeview Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim stated that the suspect had hit her with a rock and identified the suspect, who had a known history, to the officers. The officers located the suspect and detained him. A computer check on the suspect revealed two warrants for his arrest out of San Mateo and that he was currently on probation. The suspect was arrested.
