Robbery

300 Vernon St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The witness reported that the suspect had suddenly walked up to the victim, who had earphones on, and placed his hand over the victim’s mouth. The victim screamed and asked what the suspect wanted. The suspect demanded the victim’s phone. The victim gave the phone to the suspect and the suspect immediately left the area with it.  

Attempted Robbery

Sloat Blvd & Skyline Blvd
Officers responded to a report of an attempted robbery. The victim, a dependent adult, reported that she had just boarded a MUNI when two suspects began to make fun of her. Shortly after, one of the suspects punched her and the second grabbed her property. The victim successfully retrieved her property from the two suspects and she exited the bus.  

Battery – Cited

2300 43rd Ave
Officers responded to a report of a battery. The victim reported that he had been talking in his backyard and smoking a cigarette when his doorbell rang. The victim answered the door and the suspect, his neighbor, started screaming that the victim was too loud before the suspect punched the victim three times on his collarbone. The victim closed the door on the suspect and called the police. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.
