Officers responded to a report of a homicide. The reportee told the officers that he had received a text message from the suspect which stated that he had killed his girlfriend. Responding officers located the deceased victim and detained the suspect, who was attempting to leave the building. The suspect was arrested. This case is being investigated by the Homicide Unit.
