Robbery – Warrant Arrest – Cited/Arrested

San Miguel St & Mount Vernon Ave
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that she had been walking home when the suspect approached her and asked what the time was. The victim looked at the time on her cell phone and the suspect immediately attempted to take it away from her. The victim resisted and a second suspect, who was suddenly behind her, successfully snatched the phone away. Responding officers located the suspects, who were both juveniles, and detained them. Both suspects were later positively identified by the victim. A computer check revealed that one of the suspects had an arrest warrant. One suspect was arrested and the other suspect was cited.

Garfield St & Bright St
Officers responded to a report of a person with a gun. The caller stated to the officers that he wanted to shoot people and would point the gun at any officers as well. Responding officers arrived at the location and persuaded the suspect to drop the gun and detained him. After further investigation, the gun was revealed to be a true to life replica. The suspect was cited and transported to an emergency room for a psychological exam.

500 Buckingham Way
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim and witness reported that five juvenile suspects suddenly approached them and started harassing them while saying that the suspects were from the mafia. The suspects then presented photos of them holding guns and asked if the victim wanted to take a photo with them.  The victim fearfully agreed and handed over his phone for a photo. The suspects then snatched the victim’s phone and immediately ran away with it.

18th Ave & Taraval St
Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he had just received money from a Western Union transaction at Safeway when two suspects suddenly approached and started to punch and kick him. The suspects then reached into the victim’s pocket and stole the victim’s money before immediately fleeing the area.  

Burglary – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

2000 15th Ave
Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress. The victim reported that the suspect was observed taking items from the victim’s garage and putting them into a vehicle. The victim confronted the suspect and the suspect immediately fled the area. Responding officers located the suspect and a computer check revealed that the suspect was on probation with an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested.

Robbery of a Residence

200 Orizaba Ave
Officers responded to a report of a home robbery. The victim reported that the suspect had used a key to gain entry into their home before pointing a gun at them and demanding money. The suspect then took the money and fled the area immediately. The victim stated that they believed their daughter, who had been using drugs and had been in the company questionable people lately, may have given or lost her house key to the suspect.

One incident of domestic violence; the suspect was arrested.
