Stolen Vehicle – Arrested

Ocean Ave & Harold Ave
Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Responding officers located the vehicle and observed that the front and back license plates did not match each other. A computer check on both licenses confirmed that the vehicle had been stolen. The officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, the suspect. The suspect stated that he had met a friend who had been too intoxicated to drive and therefor hot-wired the vehicle so that the suspect could drive him home. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
