Officers responded to a report of a person who was trying to set a tree on fire. Responding officers arrived at the location and located the suspect, who was wheeling a shopping basket that was filled with ashes and burnt residue. The officers made contact with the suspect, who stated that he had purchased a frozen pizza and had attempted to cook it by building a fire. A search of the location revealed a second spot where a fire had occurred recently. A computer check revealed that the suspect was on probation. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
