Officers responded to a report of a fire alarm that had been activated. The witness, a building security employee, reported that a known suspect who had a history of falsely activating fire alarms was observed in the basement of the building and reaching for the fire alarm. A few seconds later, the fire alarm sounded. The suspect was detained and cited.
