Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The victim reported that he had been holding on to his cell phone when he walked past a group of people when the suspects suddenly grabbed his phone, punched and tripped him. Responding officers located the two suspects and a investigation revealed that they were in possession of the stolen phone. The suspects were arrested.
Traffic Violation – No Driver’s License Issued – Cited

19th Ave & Vicente St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that failed to stop at a red light. The officers conducted a traffic stop and a computer check revealed that the driver’s license had been expired since April. The driver was cited.
Traffic Violation – Warrant Arrest – Possession of a Loaded Firearm – Arrested

20th Ave & Qunitara St
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle with a non functioning light and conducted a traffic stop. While making contact with the occupants, a strong odor of marijuana emanated from the vehicle. The occupants were detained and while they exited the vehicle, an object fell to the floorboard which was later revealed to be a gun. After further investigation, one occupant was arrested for a warrant, a second occupant was arrested for gun charges and the driver was cited for the traffic violation.
