Officers responded to a report of an incident of vandalism. The victim reported that they had just left their house and noticed that their property had been damaged and lay in pieces with recently burnt pieces of paper that were nearby.
Robbery

1100 Plymouth Ave
The victim reported that he had just exited a store and was walking when the suspect suddenly approached the victim and demanded the victim’s property with threats. The victim attempted to protect his cell phone, which was in his front pocket, with his hands but the suspect forcibly grabbed the victim’s hand and twisted the victim’s thumb to access the pocket. The suspect then stole the victim’s phone and immediately fled northbound on Plymouth Ave toward Ocean Ave.
