Arson of a Vehicle – Arrested

San Jose Ave & Mt Vernon Ave
Officers responded to a report of a suspect setting a vehicle on fire. The witness reported that he had observed the suspect setting fire to something before throwing it into a vehicle, which caused it to catch on fire. Responding officers investigated the incident and determined that the owner of the vehicle had attempted to set his car on fire. The suspect was arrested.

Assault

1800 25th Ave
Officers responded to a report of an assault. The victim reported that the suspect, a roommate, had approached her and claimed that the victim had placed garbage in the suspect’s bedroom. The argument escalated and the suspect struck the victim with a pan.  

Vehicle Strip – Arrested
7:31 am
Great Hwy & Judah St
Officers responded to a report of a theft. The witness reported that he had been walking his dog when he heard suspicious noises coming from underneath a car. Shortly afterwards, the suspect slid out from underneath the car while holding on to a saw and several pieces of metal. The suspect then entered a waiting vehicle and fled the area. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
