Burglary – Possession Of Stolen Property – Arrested

Officers were informed that a suspect, who was being detained for causing a commotion while being in an altered mental state, was also observed in another incident concerning stolen items. The victim reported he had returned to his office to find the front door, which had been closed but unlocked, was suspiciously half open. An investigation determined that the victim’s backpack was missing. The victim reviewed the security camera and observed the suspect walking out with the victim’s backpack. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.

Robbery

Officers responded to a report of a robbery. The witness, who had transported the victim to Taraval Station to make the report, stated that the suspects had double parked next to a parked vehicle before one suspect exited and approached the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then pointed a gun at the victim before reaching in and taking the victim’s purse. The suspect immediately fled the area in the waiting vehicle. The victim confirmed that she had just parked her vehicle and was sitting in the driver’s seat when the suspect suddenly approached her with a gun before immediately stealing her purse. The victim stated that she had unsuccessfully attempted to prevent the theft. 

Stolen Rental Vehicle – False Identification – Cited

Officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle. Responding officers located the vehicle and spoke to bystanders who stated that the suspect had exited the vehicle and entered a nearby store. The suspect was detained and gave the officers false information concerning her identity. After further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Reported 2:30 am / 19th Ave & Santiago St / Vehicle vs Vehicle – hit & run
