The victim entered Taraval Station and reported an assault. The victim stated that he had been engaged in a debate about cars, with an unknown person, while having a beer at a bar when the suspect suddenly walked over to them. The suspect proceeded to call the victim names and made derogatory statements about the victim before suddenly grabbing the victim by the throat and squeezing. The victim kicked the victim and successfully freed himself. The suspect exited the bar.

Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision. A computer check revealed that one of the parties involved did not have a license to drive and was cited.
