Officers responded to a report and made contact with the victim. The victim stated that he had just exited his car to shut the building’s gate when the suspect attempted to get inside the victim’s vehicle. A struggle ensued and both the suspect and victim fell on to the ground. Immediately after, the victim observed a truck was recklessly driving towards them and jumped aside to avoid getting hit. The suspect then entered the vehicle and fled the area.
