Suspended Driver’s License – Cited

200 Orizaba Ave
Officers responded to a report of a vehicle collision and determined that a car, which was backing up, had struck a second car. A computer check revealed that the driver had a suspended license and also did not have insurance. The driver was cited.

Arson of a Vehicle – Arrested

2500 Great Highway
Officers were on patrol and observed a vehicle that was similar to one that had been involved in numerous burglaries in the area. While following the suspects from a distance, they observed the suspect’s vehicle stopping in front of a second vehicle before immediately speeding off. Shortly afterwards, the second vehicle was suddenly on fire. The officers notified SFFD, who later extinguished the fire, and detained the suspects. A search of the suspects revealed illegal narcotics in their possession and that one of the suspects was on probation. After further investigation, it was determined that one of the suspects had set her own vehicle on fire. The officers cited one of the suspects and the second suspect was arrested.
