Officers responded to a report of an altercation between two subjects. The victim, who was walking his dog, reported that the suspect had suddenly emerged from behind several parked cars. The victim stated that the suspect was holding a stick in each hand and raised one of them in a confrontational manner before lowering it and walking up to the victim until he was almost nose to nose with the victim. The victim, feeling threatened, punched the suspect in response. The suspect then walked away from the victim. Responding officers located the suspect and after further investigation, the suspect was cited.

Officers responded a store regarding a battery. The victim, an employee, reported that the suspect had gotten angry and yelled at the victim for confronting her about shoplifting. The suspect then pushed the victim twice, causing the victim to fall to the ground. The suspect then immediately fled the area.
Theft of an Animal

Officers responded to a report of a person causing noise and banging on the door. Responding officers arrived at the location and made contact with the victim, who reported that she had been banging on her neighbors’ door because she believed that her neighbor son’s therapist had stolen the dog. However, the victim could not provide further information concerning the incident.

The victim arrived at Taraval Station to report a battery. The victim stated that she had been walking home when she walked past the suspect, her neighbor’s son, on the sidewalk. Without warning, the victim suddenly felt someone pushing her on to the ground and she fell down before seeing the suspect immediately run away from her. The victim stated that she had not any incidents or issues with the suspect but did have a history of altercations with the suspect’s mother.
