Robbery

The victim reported that the first suspect, who was previously involved in shoplifting at the store, was observed placing multiple items of merchandise into an empty stroller. The second suspect, who accompanied the first suspect and was in a wheelchair, was also observed taking merchandise. The victim attempted to stop the suspects as they exited the store but the suspects responded by brandishing a knife at the victim. Both suspects then exited the store and walked away.
Fire

Officers responded to a report of a fire. The victim reported that she had discovered burnt items in the parking lot of her business and believes that the suspect had been starting a fire to keep warm. The victim was concerned that the suspect may accidentally cause damage to the property.
Shoplifting with Force – Warrant Arrest – Arrested

700 Taraval St
The victims, employees of the store, confronted a shoplifter who responded by threatening and punching one of the victims. Responding officers arrived at the location and a computer check on the suspect revealed a warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested.
