The victim reported that the suspect, her son, had come over to ask for money. The victim met the suspect outside when he arrived and realized that the suspect was under the influence of narcotics. The victim then refused to give the suspect any money and locked the suspect outside of the house. The suspect responded angrily and attempted to set the victim’s front door on fire. Responding officers located the suspect and after a medical evaluation, the suspect was arrested.
