Officers received information concerning a suspect who was hitting a box with a sledgehammer. Responding officers arrived at the location and observed that the suspect immediately walked towards a waiting vehicle and entered the passenger’s side before the vehicle drove away. The officers conducted a traffic stop and detained the two suspects inside. After further investigation, it was determined that both suspects were recently involved in an incident of burglary at Geary and 11th Avenue. Both suspects were arrested.
