Officers responded to a gas station to conduct a well being check on a vehicle that had been parked in front of a gas pump for multiple hours. Responding officers arrived at the location and ran a computer check on the vehicle which revealed that it had been reported as stolen out of Daly City. The officers made contact with the suspect, who was in the vehicle, and detained her. After mirandizing the suspect, the suspect stated that she had observed that the vehicle had been left running and got in because she was cold and wet. The suspect then drove the vehicle away before falling asleep in the back seat. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
