Officers responded to the parking lot of the bank regarding a robbery. The victim reported that they had been sitting in their vehicle when the suspect suddenly approached and attempted to open the vehicle’s door. The door was locked and the suspect used a tool, believed by the victim to be the butt of a gun, to break the window. The suspect then reached in, took the victim’s purse and immediately fled the area.
