Aggravated Assault with Weapon – Malicious Mischief – Vandalism to Vehicle – Arrest Made

Officers responded to an aggravated assault involving weapons. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met a man who stated that when he dropped his friend off at her house, the suspect appeared in front of his vehicle. The suspect pulled the man out of his car and threw punches at his head. He then ripped the windshield wiper and antenna off his car and used them to smash the car. The suspect also kicked the man’s head while he was on the ground. The Officers booked the suspect for assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism to a vehicle.

Residential Burglary – Forcible Entry

An Officer responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met a man who stated that while he was away from his residence, an alarm call was sent to SFPD. The responding Officers conducted a walkthrough because they arrived at the scene to find the door damaged and opened. The man stated that nothing was missing from his home.

Theft – Shoplifting – Warrant Arrest

Officers responded to a shoplifting incident. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met a loss prevention agent who stated that he observed a man take merchandise from a fruit stand without paying. The men attempted to flee the scene on foot, but nearby Officers were able to detain him. A computer check on the man revealed that there was a warrant for his arrest. The Officers booked the man for shoplifting and the warrant.

Officers responded to a shoplifting incident. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met a loss prevention agent who stated that he observed a man enter the store and quickly select store merchandise. The man then exited the store, failing to pay for the store merchandise in his possession. The loss prevention agent detained the man and recovered the stolen merchandise. The Officers booked the man for theft.

Officers responded to a graffiti incident. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met the manager of the building who stated that when he returned to work, he noticed graffiti on the building’s tower and sign. The Officers provided the manager with a follow-up form.

An Officer responded to a fire report. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met a man who stated that when he arrived in the area, he saw smoke coming from a house. The arson investigator arrived on scene and confirmed that the fire was caused by an electrical malfunction in one of the rooms.

A woman came into Taraval Station to file an identity theft report. She stated to the Officer that she received a letter from the IRS informing her that a suspect used her social security number to obtain employment. The Officer provided the woman with a follow-up form.

A woman and man came into Taraval Station to report a suspicious occurrence. They stated to the Officer that they received emails thanking them for signing up to their websites. They never signed up for the websites and did not give anyone permission to use their email address to sign up for the websites.

Officers responded to a trespassing incident. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers were approached by the suspect. The suspect was incoherent and acting belligerent. A computer check revealed that there were two warrants for the suspect’s arrest. The Officers booked the suspect on the warrants.

An Officer responded to a fraud report. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met a woman who stated that a suspect used her name to open two accounts without her permission. She received statements for each account with several charges. The Officer provided the woman a follow-up form.

An Officer responded to a suspicious occurrence. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met a woman who stated that when she was driving she almost collided with another vehicle. She believes that the driver of the vehicle kept hitting his brakes so she would run into him. After the woman later parked her vehicle, the suspect drove up to her and started to yell at her.
Suspect: Asian male, 20-30 years old, brown eyes.

Death Report

An Officer responded to a death report. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met with SFFD paramedics who directed him to the deceased victim. The Officer then met a woman who stated that earlier when she checked on the victim, she believed he was still asleep. However, when she later checked on him again, she found him unresponsive. She stated that the deceased victim suffered from several medical ailments and took several medications for the ailments.

An Officer observed a vehicle travel through a stop sign. The Officer conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver. The driver stated to the Officer that he did not currently possess a driver’s license. A computer query confirmed that the driver’s license was suspended. The Officer cited the driver for failing to stop at a stop sign and driving on a suspended license.

Robbery with Force

Officers responded to a call of robbery with force in a public place. When the Officers arrived at the scene, the male victim told the Officers he was walking home when the male suspect hit him in the face and took the victim’s back pack. The male victim regained possession of his back pack and the suspect chased him to his home. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle with an additional suspect driving.

Officers responded to a theft from a convenience store regarding a white male suspect. When the Officers arrived at the scene, the store manager described the male suspect suspiciously walking around the store carrying items. The male walked by the registers without paying and fled the scene on foot.

An Officer at Taraval Station was approached by a woman to report vandalism to her vehicle. The woman explained to the Officer her vehicle was parked outside her home overnight and the next morning noticed someone intentionally kicked her side panels and broke her side mirror.

A woman came into Taraval Station to report a false personation. The woman explained to the Officer that she received a notice from her insurance company about a claim being denied. The woman stated she did not see a medical provider or give anyone permission to use her name nor social security number to file a claim. The suspect attempted to file a claim with her insurance company.

Forgery and Theft

Officers responded to a call regarding forged documents which resulted in a theft. When the Officers arrived at the scene, the male victim explained to the Officers he attempted to buy a car off a man from Craigslist. After the victim gave the suspect cash for the vehicle, the suspect left stating he was getting the title for the vehicle. The suspect never returned and the victim realized all of the documents used in the transaction were forged by the suspect. The vehicle that would have been purchased was also no longer on the scene.

At the request of SSFD paramedics, Officers responded on a standby relating to a death case. The man’s son told the Officers he checked on his father and noticed he was not conscious or breathing. The son also told the Officers his father had many prior medical conditions that may have caused his father’s death.

An Officer was on patrol when he noticed a vehicle driving without a front license plate. The Officer performed a traffic stop and found out the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. The man was cited for driving without a driver’s license.

An Officer performed a traffic stop on a vehicle exceeding the appropriate speed limit. The Officer asked for license, registration and proof of insurance; however the driver was missing proof of insurance and the driver’s license was expired. The driver was cited on driving with an expired license and driving at high speeds. The driver was released on the scene.

An Officer responded to a call of a burglary from an apartment building. The victim described that when she woke up, she noticed her front door was open and she was missing various items that were next to the door. The back door and back gate leading to the driveway were also open.

Officers responded to a report of a burglary from a house. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers met with the owner of the house who described seeing broken glass next to a bedroom window. The owner checked his house before Officers arrived and noticed cash was missing from a dresser. Officers searched the house and concluded the suspect was no longer present.

Officers responded to a theft call from a building. Upon arrival at the scene, the victim told the Officers he met the suspect at a bar and took the suspect to his home. The victim left the suspect unattended and when he returned, cash was missing from his wallet and the suspect was gone.

Officers responding to a report of a fight discovered a broken window on a commercial building. A witness described to the Officers that two suspects were fighting each other, and one suspect was thrown against a window, shattering it. The witness elaborated further that the suspects fled the scene. Officers searched the area and did not see any sign of the suspects.

Malicious Mischief – Vandalism to a Vehicle

An Officer at Taraval Station was approached by three victims to report vandalism to vehicles. The three victims described to the Officer that each of their vehicles were vandalized during the night, including window and door scratches. The same suspect or suspects are believed to be responsible for all three vehicles being damaged.

Officers were driving on patrol and stopped a vehicle for expired registration. Upon performing a traffic stop, the Officers discovered the driver’s license was suspended. The man was cited for driving with a suspended license and expired registration.

Officers arrived at the scene where a woman was robbed while walking home. The woman explained to the Officers her purse was taken from her from behind by two African American males. The woman saw the two suspects run away with her purse and enter a vehicle. The two suspects fled the scene in a white four door sedan.

A woman came into Taraval Station to report an assault. The woman explained to the Officer while driving she honked at a double parked car and the owner. The woman drove past the car and stopped at a stop sign. The woman noticed the owner of the car driving at a fast rate of speed and hit her rear bumper. The woman believes the collision was intentional.

An Officer arrived at a vehicle collision scene which resulted in a warrant arrest. A woman explained to the Officer she was hit by a car by a driver who did not possess a valid driver’s license. After a computer query, the Officer discovered the man driving without a license had a warrant in Solano County. The man was cited for driving on a suspended license and placed under arrest for the active warrant.

A woman came into Taraval Station to report a theft at her work. The woman stated she placed her purse in a storage box next to the front counter in the store. The woman explained to the Officer she noticed her purse was stolen after her workday. The woman believes someone must have stolen her purse when no one was looking.

Officers arrived at a scene regarding a loan fraud. The man explained to the Officers he contacted a company about receiving a loan. The company told him to put money on a prepaid card to show verification of income in order to qualify for a loan. The man gave the company his prepaid card information and did not hear back from them. The victim checked the balance of his prepaid card and the money was withdrawn.

A woman came into Taraval Station to report credit card fraud. The woman explained to the Officer she contacted her bank after being denied a transaction and found out someone has used her credit card. The woman’s bank explained her card was on hold because of questionable activity and a large sum purchase. The woman did not give anyone permission to use her credit card or knows how someone obtained her information.

A woman came into Taraval Station to report false personation. The woman explained someone used her personal information to file a tax return. The woman does not know how someone obtained her personal information.

A man walked into Taraval Station to report identity theft. The man explained to the Officer he received a call from a bank stating someone tried to open an account in his name. The man told the Officer he has yet to experience any financial loss.

An Officer responded to a fraud call. Upon arrival at the scene, a woman reported someone left her two voicemails stating she had a warrant out for her arrest and needed to contact the suspect. The Officer on the scene determined there was no criminal threat from the voicemails.

Officers responded to a call regarding a suspicious occurrence. Upon arrival at the scene, a woman reported someone placed an advertisement on craigslist stating her residence was up for rent. The woman explained to the Officers this happened before and did not know it happened again until someone showed up to her residence asking about the craigslist advertisement. The advertisement on craigslist has been taken down.

Verbal Threat – Arrest Made

Officers responded to a call possibly involving a gun. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers searched for the suspect and found he was already detained by San Francisco State Police Officers not far away. The suspect engaged in a verbal altercation with two victims, and the suspect threatened he had a gun. The suspect was arrested and booked at 7th Street Sheriff’s Facility.

Officers were dispatched to a residence responding to a report of burglary. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers were met by the victim who claimed she awoke that morning to find her garage door open with two bikes missing. The suspect appeared to use the garage as a point of entry and an exit.

Officers responded to a call regarding a burglary of a building under construction. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers met with the contractor and business owner of the site who told the Officers that several items were stolen from the locked construction site during the night. Officers determined the lock to the building was forced open.

An Officer responded to a call of a homeless man throwing his belongings into the street. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer spoke with the suspect and ran a records and warrants check. The results of the check revealed the suspect had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The suspect was arrested and booked to County Jail for an outstanding warrant.

Officers responded to a call of a man using drugs on a street corner. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers made contact with a witness who pointed out the suspect not far away. After speaking with the suspect and running a records and warrant check, the suspect was found to have outstanding warrants for his arrest. The suspect was arrested and booked to Taraval Station for outstanding warrants.

Officers responded to a call at a grocery store regarding a theft. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers met with the victim who explained how various items and cash were stolen from her shoulder bag that was secured in a locker. Video surveillance may have recorded the incident take place, and was taken in as evidence.

Robbery with a Gun

An Officer responded to a robbery with a gun. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met a man who stated that when he got out of his vehicle, three suspects approached him. The man saw handguns in the waistbands of two of the suspects. The suspects hit the man in the face a few times and ordered him to hand over his money and personal belongings. After the suspects took the man’s money and personal belongings, they fled the scene on foot.

Attempted Robbery with Force – Aggravated Assault with Force

Officers responded to an attempted robbery with force. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met an employee who stated that he observed a suspect walk pass several open and attended cash registers and exit the store without paying for the store merchandise in his possession. The employee attempted to detain the suspect, but the suspect punched the him in the face a few times. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. Suspect: Hispanic male, 35-45 years old, 5’5” 250 lbs, bald. LSW: Black tee shirt, dark jeans and black shoes.

An employee of a security company came into Taraval Station, and gave the Officer a DVD of a recorded battery incident on a MUNI bus. The Officer booked the DVD at Taraval Station.

Commercial Burglary – Forcible Entry

Officers responded to a commercial burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met the manager of the store who stated that a suspect broke into the store. The manager arrived at the building to find the front door opened. The front door appeared to have been forced opened because of the pry marks on the door. There were several items of merchandise missing from the store. The Officers determined that the point of entry and exit was through the damaged from door.

Officers responded to a residential burglary with forcible entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met a woman who stated that she returned to her house to discover the garage door wide opened. There were several items missing from the house. The Officers determined the point of entry was through the damaged door in the rear of the garage and the point of entry was through the garage door.

An Officer responded to a residential burglary with unlawful entry. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met a woman who stated that a suspect stole her bicycle. When she returned home, she noticed that her front gate and storage unit door was opened. She also noticed that her bicycle was not in the garage. The woman stated that she did not give anyone permission to take her bicycle.

Petty Theft – Possession of Stolen Property – Probation Violation – Arrest Made

An Officer responded to a theft. Two other Officers who also responded to the theft were flagged down by an employee who directed them to the suspect. Upon arrival at the scene, Officers met the manager of the building who stated that earlier she observed and recognized the suspect from security footage. The Officers then met an employee who stated that earlier she returned to the break room to discover that a personal belonging of hers was missing. The Officers found the employee’s stolen possession on the suspect. The Officers arrested and booked the suspect for petty theft, possession with knowledge, and violating probation.

A man came into Taraval Station to report a theft and fraud. The man stated to the Officer that a company sent him letters advising him that they did not know what account he wanted his checks to go towards. The man did not send or sign the checks. He believes that the suspect stole the checks from his mailbox.

Officers responded to a theft from a building. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met a woman who stated that while she was shopping at a store, two suspects approached her and informed her of a produce deal. The woman went to look at the produce, but she later returned to her shopping cart to discover that her personal belongings were missing from her bag.

Malicious Mischief – Vandalism to Property

Officers responded to a report of vandalism to property. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met an employee of a company who stated that earlier he placed barricades and left them in proper order at the construction site. When he later returned to the site, he noticed that the barricades were damaged.

A woman came into Taraval Station to report fraud. She stated to the Officer that earlier she received a collection letter stating that she owed money for past due bill. The woman also stated that she does not have an account. When she called the collections company, they advised her that a suspect used her name and social security number to open the account.

Death Report

Officers responded to a death report. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officers met a man who stated the victim had asthma. Earlier when he attempted to make contact with the victim, he received no answer. He entered the room and saw the victim lying on his bed motionless. He then touched the victim who felt cold to the touch and was not breathing. The San Francisco Medical Examination later arrived on scene.

An Officer observed a vehicle fail to come to a complete stop at the marked limit line for a posted stop sign. The Officer conducted the traffic stop on the vehicle and identified the driver. A computer check revealed that the driver’s license was suspended and the vehicle registration was no longer valid. The registration tab on the license plate was for 2014. An Officer responded to a non-injury traffic collision. Upon arrival at the scene, the Officer met a man who identified the person riding the motorcycle. A computer check revealed the man who drove the motorcycle had a suspended driver’s license. The Officer cited the man for driving with a suspended license, without proof of insurance, and without a valid motorcycle endorsement.
