1500 Sloat Blvd
Store employees reported that the security alarm had gone off and alerted them that someone was exiting the store without paying for merchandise. The witness stated that the suspect was observed pushing a filled shopping cart out of the store. While attempting to flee the area, the suspect rammed the cart into a nearby vehicle that was passing by. The suspect then took the merchandise out of the cart, attempted to hit the employees who were trying to detain the suspect and fled the area. Responding officers searched and located the suspect. After further investigation, the suspect was arrested.
