The victim reported that they had just exited their vehicle when the suspect walked up, pointed a handgun at the victim and said something the victim didn’t understand. The victim attempted to flee from the suspect but the suspect followed and pushed the victim down, causing the victim’s wallet to fall out. The suspect then picked up the wallet, took the money out and fled the area.

Officers were on patrol when they were informed that a shoplifter had been detained. The merchant declined to press charges but a computer check revealed an arrest warrant. The suspect was arrested.
