The victim reported that they had parked their unlocked vehicle, with the engine running and their child sleeping in the back seat, to enter a supermarket. Shortly after, the suspect entered the victim’s vehicle and drove away with the child still inside. Responding officers located the vehicle, abandoned at Capitol St and De Montfort, with the child still asleep inside.
