Carjacking with a Gun –2016 Infiniti Q50 – Case# 240143820

The victim reported that he was dropping off his Uber passenger when he was rearended by another vehicle. The victim pulled over to exchange information with the other vehicle when three suspects with firearms exited the vehicle. The suspects pointed the gun at the victim and demanded his car key. The victim gave up his car key, wallet, and cellphone and the suspects drove away in the victim’s vehicle. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival.

The victim reported that the suspect attempted to stab him with a knife. Officers detained all parties at the scene. After reviewing video evidence and the lack of evidence, Officers did not find sufficient probable cause to place the suspect under arrest.

The victim was involved in a verbal confrontation with the suspect. During the confrontation, the victim was attacked by the suspect and sustained injuries to his face. The victim did not report the incident to police until the following day.

The victim reported a physical altercation between him and another person that the bar. During the altercation, the victim’s glasses were knocked down to the ground. The victim did not report the incident to police until the following day.

Trespassing

The victim reported that a known shoplifter entered the store. The shoplifter refused to leave the store when an employee told him to leave. Store security followed the shoplifter inside the store to prevent him from stealing. The shoplifter eventually left the store without stealing any merchandise.
